The past few weeks have pretty much kept us going from dawn to dusk with farm work. There is still more work to be done but it rained last night. Our rain gauge has a leak so we aren't sure of the exact amount but Dad thought about 1/2". More is predicted over the next few days and it looks like the weather forecaster is actually going to be right. Dad was able to get the canola seeded and when it dries up we'll be getting two other fields ready to seed flax. We were hoping to have all the fields seeded by now but due to extreme dryness(other than the rain and snow we had a few weeks ago, up to now we hadn't had moisture for several months) and the fields being in grass for several years, it was a much bigger challenge than anticipated to break up the ground.
One of the jobs has been picking rocks. We've actually picked more rocks than this and there are more in the field yet to pick.

Stonehenge :D ...these are marking a bigger rock which needs to dug out with the tractor or bobcat

Since I couldn't take a picture of me discing, I just took a picture of "my" tractor :D
